Hi, I'm Melissa

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA but currently live in Indiana. While I miss the sun and my family, I've grown accustomed to my new home. I get to share the Midwest green with my wonderful boyfriend, baby, dog, and cat.

I graduated from Oregon State's online computer science degree in 2023. I originally majored in Statistics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2018. I returned to school because I enjoyed programming and I wanted a stronger background.

My other hobbies include gaming, reading, learning, and walking! This website is my practice using React, NextJS, TypeScript, and Vercel.

Well... I get the few coding snippets in between the baby care and sleep deprivation. 😴
