Hi, I'm Melissa

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA but currently live in Indiana. While I miss the sun and my family, I've grown accustomed to my new home. I get to share the Midwest green with my wonderful family.

I graduated from Oregon State's online computer science degree in 2023. I originally majored in Statistics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2018. I returned to school because I enjoyed programming and I wanted a stronger background.

My other hobbies include gaming, reading, learning, and walking! This website is my practice using React, NextJS, TypeScript, and Vercel.

I'm currently working on getting the AWS Cloud Practitioner Certificate.
